JavaScript Giant, Sencha Hinges HTML5 Back to Reality

I think it’s fair to say that, after all the recent hype from Apple and Google about HTML5, somebody needs to make a move to keep this open-source/cross-browser HTML5 specification honest.

JavaScript powerhouse Sencha, formerly Ext JS, is unveiling “a programming framework for building rich, web and touch-based applications and that draws on the HTML5 family of specs” – Read the Register Article here.

On Senchas blog today, they have in fact unveiled Sencha Touch “The First HTML5 Mobile App Framework. Sencha Touch allows you to develop web apps that look and feel native on Apple iOS and Google Android touchscreen devices.” Sencha Blog here.
